I’d like to offer some advice on how to maximize the benefits of the It Works! Wrap, and maintain your results for as long as possible. Typical results last for 2-6 months, which is pretty good considering that NOTHING in life is permanent. Not Botox. Not Liposuction. Not a Tummy Tuck. It ALL requires some level of effort on your part. So here are 5 tips on how to optimize your It Works! Wrap Results.


Do a FULL Treatment

For those of you upset that a miracle didn’t happen with ONE wrap….please understand that is NOT what we are promoting. While it is true that most people see results in 45 minutes, that is just a taste of what is yet to come. Think of it this way, you would be disappointed if you got a manicure and the nail tech only painted three of your nails, right? You want a FULL manicure! The same applies with the body wraps….you should do a FULL treatment in order to appreciate the end result. I like to say, “One Wrap is a Treat; One Box is a Treatment.”

Prepare your Skin

There are a few things you can do to prepare your skin for the Wrap. First, make sure your pores are clean and free from soap, perfumes, lotion, or sweat. Do not use soaps with lanolin, as they tend to clog pores.

Next, the best time to apply your It Works! Wrap is right after you have dried off from a hot shower. This is when your pores are the most open to receiving the botanical ingredients on the wrap. If you can’t make it to the shower, use Rubbing Alcohol to clean the area instead. Also, you may be interested in trying our botanically-based Cleanser Gel or Hydrating Toner & Freshner to further prepare the area.


Drink LOTS of Water

I believe this is the single most important factor throughout the entire wrapping process. Wrapping without drinking water is like sweeping your floor only to put all the dirt and dust under a rug. Let’s flush your system! Along with avoiding salty foods, you will need to drink LOTS of water. (Please note: this is NOT a water weight loss product; if it were, you would be defeating the purpose by drinking water.) To stay properly hydrated, you’ll need to drink half your body weight in ounces of water. (i.e. 100 lb person would need 50 ounces of water each day). Make this your goal for the next 3 days while the wrap is working, since the wrap continues to tone, firm and tighten up to 72 hours, even after it has been taken off! If this amount of water seems unbearable to you, commit to at least 6-8 tall glasses of water each day. Make your goals bite size; do 3 glasses before noon and 3 glasses before bed. You CAN do this!

Use other It Works! Products

Yes, the wraps are GREAT all by themselves, but if you want to compound your efforts….try some of our other amazing It Works! Products at the same time! Here are just a few of my top recommendations for people who are wrapping:
